KEY TEXT: 1 Chronicles 29:10-11 (KJV) – “10 Wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be Thou, Lord God of Israel our father, forever and ever. 11 Thine, O Lord is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is Thine; Thine is the kingdom, O Lord, and Thou art exalted as head above all.”

Do we truly understand who God is? God will forever be our Father as He is our Creator. As children of God, He promises an everlasting relationship. Since He is our father, we get to be part and parcel of who He is and inherit all He owns. We inherit His greatness, power, glory, victory, and majesty. We get to inherit both heaven and earth. We get to inherit His eternal Kingdom.

God is the fountain of every good and righteous thing. James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift comes from God. Your earthly father or mother can give you the priciest piece of bread but it will still be imperfect because it is made by man’s imperfect hands.
When God gives you a gift, the gift He has given you has been designed and crafted by His perfect mind and perfect hands. Thus, the gift He has given you is perfect and He wants you to depend on Him to make perfect use of it.
The Sabbath that God has given us is perfect as it is blessed by Him. We should take it as a perfect gift and not try to form another imperfect Sabbath.
When God gave us Jesus Christ, He gave us a perfect gift. Before God gave us Jesus, he would require a spotless lamb for sacrifice. However perfect the lamb would appear to be, it was not even nearly as flawless as His Son Jesus. By giving us Jesus, the Lord of the Sabbath, He gave us the most perfect and priceless gift.
Romans 8:32 (AMP) – “He who did not spare [even] His own Son, but gave Him up for us all, how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”
God wants to bless us more than we want Him to bless us. He is more desperate to bless us than we are to receive the blessings. The question is, how do we access God’s blessings?
Luke 15:31 – “And He said unto him, Son thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.”
Like the elder son, we must always be with God to access eternal blessings. Therefore, we should submit to Him every moment and make sure that we are always connected to Him.

Prayer
Oh Lord, how great Thou art. You are the Creator and Sustainer of every good and perfect thing. From You flows victory, power and majesty. You have the whole universe in Your hands. Thank you for giving us Your Son Jesus Christ that through Him we may inherit the richest blessings that you have in store for us. Lord, I surrender my life to You. Please be my guide in everything that I do. In Jesus name, Amen.

Write down the gifts that God has given you as an individual. Thank Him for them as well.
